Henry Bath Opens Warehouse in Dubai, U.A.E.

July 01, 2003 Henry Bath & Son Ltd today announced the opening of it's new metals warehousing operation at the Jebel Ali terminal in Dubai, U.A.E. The Dubai location will be managed out of Henry Bath's head offices in Liverpool, UK, whilst the day-to-day warehouse operations will be performed by local logistics provider Airlink International U.A.E.

Announcing the new location, Peter Sellars, Henry Bath CEO, commented: "The opening of the Dubai operation continues our strategy of providing commodity warehousing and logistics services on a global basis. Henry Bath management recognises the shift in global flows of metals and sees Dubai as one of a number of key strategic locations."

The opening of Dubai as a new warehouse location brings the total number of Henry Bath worldwide locations to sixteen, following the recent opening of Henry Bath warehouses in Busan and Kwangyang in South Korea.

Dubai was approved by the London Metal Exchange (LME) in October 2001 as a good delivery location against its copper, lead, nickel and zinc contracts. Henry Bath & Son Ltd are currently seeking an LME listing for Dubai which will permit the warehouse to issue LME warrants against these metals stored at the new warehouse facility.
