September 21, 2004 Henry Bath & Son Ltd today announced the opening of its new metals and commodity warehousing operation in the Freeport of Pasir Gudang in Johor, Malaysia.
The Malaysian operation will be managed from Henry Bath's regional offices in Singapore, whilst the day-to-day warehousing and logistics operations will be performed by an established local logistics provider.
Henry Bath & Son Ltd are currently seeking an LME Johor listing for the Pasir Gudang operation that will permit the warehouse to issue LME warrants against the exchange's contracts for primary aluminium, copper, zinc, lead, nickel and tin stored at the new facility.
The opening of Johor as a new warehouse location brings the total number of Henry Bath worldwide locations to nineteen, following the opening of new Henry Bath warehouse operations in Dubai, Busan, Gwangyang, Shanghai, Chicago and Antwerp within the last 18 months.
